“From their excellent reviews on Blogs, we decided to book Lanka Heritage Tours for our tour of Sri Lanka and I'm pleased to say we have not been disappointed. The tour travelling around Sri Lanka was planned out by Chami (the owner) and sent via email. We had the choice to adapt and change but decided to stick with what had been suggested. Chami helped with all our questions and queiries about our tour and we were confident to book with him. Even though Chami (the ownr) was not with us, he was in contact with us every day thru Whatsapp to find out how we were doing. Not only he helped us with the cultural tour, but he also assisted us with everything we needed. He helped us with transportation within cities and even with two safaries which costs us less. I tried to compare prices and he provided us with excellent prices. Best of all, one month before our trip he already had the train tickets for us in a special class called Observation Saloon which is very difficult to obtain. We had the pleasure of having Nuwan as a driver, he was warm, welcoming, friendly punctual and a very responsible driver. He went above and beyond his job to take care of us and treated us to local food and snacks. We highly recommend this company, and wish them all the best !!! Despues de leer tan buenos comentarios sobre esta compañia en diferentes Blogs, decidimos contratarlos por 5 dias. Hicimos el triangulo cultural con ellos y fue Excelente! Apesar que Chami (el dueño) no pudo acompañarnos siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros preguntandonos por whatsapp si todo estaba bien. Nos ayudo con todo lo que le pedimos. Nos arreglo traslados entre varias ciudades y nos organizo 2 Safaris, y todo esto a muy buen precio. (Estuve comparando precios y siempre Chami nos dio los mejores precios). Y lo mejor de todo fue que 1 mes antes ya nos tenia todos los tickets de trenes comprados y en la clase Observation Saloon que es tan dificil de conseguir !!! Nuestro chofer por 5 dias fue Nuwan, un chico muy educado, honesto y atento. Siempre preocupado porque estuvieramos bien y tuvieramos agua fria que compraba con su propio dinero sin dejarnos pagar. El carro muy comodo, limpio y con aire acondicionado. Les recomiendo mucho esta compañia!”

My Belgian partner and I (Irish) spent a wonderful time in Sri Lanka in May (2013). Having dropped our girls off to their Grandparents in Belgium we were all set for our BIG adventure. We are well used to traveling but all new destinations can be challenging at first particularly in Sri Lanka where the very hot weather and language can cost you lost time as you try and work out where to go / what to see and the best way to get there. We struck gold when we stayed in Kandy! Our well run guest house (Villa 49) recommended we take a Tuk Tuk ride to see a number of the sights and that’s when we met Chaminda or Super Chaminda as he became to be known! After our first Tuk Tuk ride we were very impressed with Chaminda’s relaxed style, excellent English, knowledge of the area, unending patience and his very nice way of relating to people. Over a few days Chaminda took us to Pinnawela Elephant orphanage, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a spice and herb garden, a mask workshop, the Temple of the Tooth and the big white Buddha (sorry – can’t remember the correct name) higher up in Kandy. We had a wonderful time made memorable in a big way by being fortunate enough to have met Chaminda. We would have no hesitation in recommending Chaminda to any tourists’ looking for an amazing Sri Lankan experience!

We felt very safe and comfortable with him.
If I have to sort out some bad to improve it I would say that:
– We didn’t like have to pay for the highway. It was almost nothing in money, but I would have prefered pay more at the beginning, that have to pay for that during the trip.

Nisha is a good driver , is also friendly and attentive. We are very happy with it.
The safari we did in Yala , if not in Udawalawe , and we did it through Nisha , we pay 3500 LKR for the jeep and the park entrance 6250 LKR for two people.
